Going to the Chapel...

After being teased, blushed, brushed, combed, powdered and primped, we headed to the church. Everything was beyond surreal at this point. I was a only a few mere hours away from walking down the aisle. But I was honestly more concerned about the few hours left before 200 people would view and judge my two and a half years of planning, stress, diying, and crafting! What if the room looks like crap, what if the food is terrible, what if the dj doesnt show up, and (the worry on everyone's mind) what if Courtney's dress rips open in the middle of the ceremony?!

Despite butterflies and jitters, they somehow managed to get me in my dress! And, not to brag, AWESOME!!

Best. Wedding. Planner. Ever.

When there was only about 45 minutes to Go Time...I was in a terrible panicky state. I HAD to have some champagne. However, champagne is frowned upon by the people at the church. Umm whatev... Super stealthy Stacie snuck some Champagne (wow that's some amazing alliteration) into the church right past Father What's His Name. (Honestly cannot think of his name at the moment) As the bride, I had a little right to selfishness. And by that I mean, I pretty much drank the whole bottle! BUT this freaked out nutzo instantly became a Happy Bride!!

So last minute (and a bottle of champagne later), we realized I didn't have my "Something Blue!" For some reason, this was a matter of great urgency. Before I knew it, the words "Who's got a blue pen?" were coming out of my mouth. Although this was the day I was marrying my Best Friend, we had to pay some homage to the lifelong best friend, otherwise known as my Best Friend Forever From Before. So Stacy, the BFFFB, staked her claim in BLUE ink! (This will later make my Christmas gift to Stacy make sense)

Alright Mr. De Mille, I'm ready for my close-up.

The Professional Pictures....

My Soon to Be Husband had to get ready too, of course! I LOVED the way these pictures came out!

Before we knew it, it was time to head into the church. We said a little prayer with Father DOUG! That's it! It was DOUG!! But he frequently referred to himself as Friar Tuck...different story, different time! Anyway, "God bless this union, watch over....etc." I decided I needed to add something to the prayer. So in all sincerity I asked Father DOUG if I could add something. "Dear Lord, please do not let Courtney's dress rip open in the middle of the ceremony." And -SPOILER ALERT- it didn't! However, dress did not hold up much longer after. Ok, where was I?? Oh yeah! We were summoned to the church.

Totally in LOVE with this picture...just wish I was in it! :)

Me and Dad...He held it together surprisingly well...for the next 3 minutes!

This is me totally freaking out! But totally excited!

And into the church we went!
