At the end of June, Brian and I flew up to Boston to surprise his cousin Billy for his graduation. While we there we saw and did everything we could possibly fit into the 5 days we were there!
We started our first day with a tour of Fenway
Followed by watching the game. With a lobster roll and Fenway frank in hand!
Visited Plymouth
Mayflower replica
Went to Martha's Vineyard. Aren't these gorgeous?!! And they were everywhere!
PS Jaws was filmed here!
On the ferry!

Went to Salem and visited some oh-so-awesome wax museums!
Arrr!!
Harvard! "Oh I go here now!" I felt so Elle Woods!
Visited the JFK Presidential Library
And finishing the week off at Billy's graduation party...
We had a blast and I can't wait to go back because there is still so much I want to do!

School's out for Summer!
So I survived my first two months of teaching...barely!
I had many bad days but the good ones made it more than worth it. I learned so much (and spent a whole lot of money!) in those two months. I am so grateful for the experience but so glad it's summer!

No Place Like Home...
My dear cousin Joey had been in Spain for the past 3 months and we had all missed her so much! So in honor of her homecoming, I threw a theme party! Shocker, right?
It was a Wizard of Oz them...ya know, No Place like Home?
I think everyone is starting to really get into my theme parties! We have the tin man, scarecrow, Dorothy, Glinda the Goodwitch, and Mayor of Munchkinland (funny because she actually IS the mayor...well, not of Munchkinland!)
The hostess with the mostess! Just finished that costume about 5 minutes before people started showing up!
Since we were going to be traveling from our house to the Mags Bayhouse, I wanted to start the party in "Kansas." We started with cocktails and appetizers.
Gale Farms- As in Dorothy Gale, her family lived on a farm...get it?
After we all got a chance to visit and have some refreshments, it was time to head to the land of Oz!
Follow the yellow brick road..
Ok so the order may not be exact but whatev, it's just a theme party geez!
Follow, follow, follow, follow the yellow brick road!
Sign I Made! Forgot to get a picture at the party, I took this right after I painted it! Bell out of order...Please Knock! "Your house killed my sister!" Emerald City! Munchkinland! The Dessert Table Tin Man Cupcakes! Ding Dong the witch is dead! Love this! Tin Man Hearts...my mom thought these were creepy! Ruby Red Slipper Cookies! Cupcakes, cookies, and Cheesecake, Oh my! We represent the Lollipop guild! Auntie M&M's Cupcakes that ask the inevitable question...Are you a Good Witch? Or a bad witch?? I can't say enough good things about the Somewhere over the Rainbow cake! It was so delicious! My friend Nikki made it for the party. It was delicious and... Rainbow! How cute!!
