After I watched the entire ceremony and the kiss on the balcony, I headed to Mom's house so we could pick up my dress! Yes, MY wedding dress! I was ready to throw up on the way to Mia. I was having nightmares about the dress not fitting or me hating it once I saw it in my size. But I let out a huge sigh of relief when Emily got the dress all zipped up. I looked and the mirror and was wowed. The dress was even more stunning than I remembered. It flattered my body so well and the crystals (won't give away where or how many there are!) were dazzling! And, oh, the veil! What a veil! I felt like I was ready for my very own Royal Wedding!!
When I got home, I saw the box of Save the Dates had just arrived! And they look fabulous!! Can't wait to send them out. I was so ready to mail 'em, I took them to the Mags and starting addressing while I was babysitting! (Don't worry the kids were so being supervised!) It was a good night with the kiddos! I taught the girls what inappropriate was using Barbies. The Barbies were having a party and some naked Barbies got in the mix so I said that was "inappropriate." After seeing the puzzled looks on their 3 and 4 year old faces, I did some more examples. I held up Barbie in a ballgown and one in blue jean shorts. I said if we were going to the grocery store, ballgown barbie is inappropriate. But if we are going to a ball, blue jeans Barbie is inappropriate. I knew they understood the concept when they were getting into their cheerleader outfits.
Caryss had her pom poms in hand but only half her outfit on. I asked the girls if a naked cheerleader was appropriate or inappropriate? Nat shouted a very certain "NOT appropriate!!" Too funny!
