Today is Harry Potter's 30th birthday! Super nerds of the Harry Potter world rejoice!
As I prepare for tomorrow's festivities with the girls in my bridal party, I am watching 27 Dresses with the fiance. I had a funny thought when I saw the rehearsal dinner scene and the woman says to Kathryn Heigl something about it must be hard to see your younger sister get married before you. God! I hope someone says that to Jill. I can't even imagine what her response to that statement would be!
Excited for the Galveston Bridal Show tomorrow!

Our Wedding Song!
Last Friday, Brian and I went to see Michael Buble. Besides being an amazing singer, he is actually quite funny! He also mentioned that he recently became engaged and you could literally hear hearts breaking across the stadium!
We were, oh, so lucky enough to sit next to these lovely two ladies who had to use the restroom 5 times each, then one went to get some rancid smelling fries that somehow appealed to the other one so she had to get up and go get her some slightly less than rancid popcorn. Then, of course with the food being salty, they had to each go back for a drink. I felt like I was at a Catholic mass with all the sitting and standing!
Anyway, it was a great show and we (mainly Brian, which makes it sweeter!) picked our wedding song! It hasn't been recorded yet by him he was just taking for a test drive on his tour I guess. Beautiful song...but it's a surprise. Geez I can't give EVERYTHING away! That's all for now!

Bridal Extravaganza!!
On Sunday, my mom, Stacy, and Courtney went to the Bridal Extravaganza at the George R Brown. I made a cute tablescape and coordinating sugar cookies, of course! The show was so great! I don't think I have ever had that much fun at a bridal show! We got in every photobooth we saw, which made for some pretty funny pictures.
And we got to see our favorite model, Tori! Mom and I have seen her at the past three shows. She is this randomly placed, 45-year old modeling wedding dresses (and I'm pretty sure she's toasted!) Needless to say, she makes the fashion show that much more interesting.
Found my dream shoes! They were at the Princess Bridal booth...the holy grail of shoes! I have told myself I can buy them only if I get back to the weight I was at when I was a freshmen in college...don't think the Italian buffet I just went to was on the right track :/
But overall, it was fun and got some more pictures for the wedding scrapbook!
