WE Wedding Sunday
I celebrated by watching WE's Wedding Sunday Allll Day long. I just love platinum weddings! I probably shouldn't watch it though because it just shows me all the things I can't have :( Worked on my Design Board today. I pretty much have my basic concpets down for my ceremony and reception, both of which will hopefully be at the San Luis in Galveston. So I can sleep there, get ready there, get married there, party there, and go back to sleep...all without having to go outside!! Hopefully Lisa will be down next month and will be able to see where we want to have the wedding before we book it. I wish I knew my official wedding budget so I could plan this thing...officially. I have multiple possible budgets made out to know where my money would be allocated in different situtations (Yeah, I have no life!). I'm hoping (fingers crossed!) I'll be able to get the oh so beautiful Chavari Chairs. I will wear a dress from Target and serve hot dogs to get these chairs! I really hate frumpy dumpy chair covers. But I could make do with fitted or spandex chair covers. Saw Joey (BM) last night....missed her! Caught her up on current wedding plans. Can't wait for the Bridesmaid party in December, too bad its like 11 months away!
Should have gone to the gym tonight to help get into wedding shape, instead, I'm having ice cream :)

Blogging!
Decided to start a blog about planning my wedding today. So...Ta-Da! Here it is! Brian and I got engaged about a year ago and still have about a year and half to go. I am a bit of a control freak and I love having almost 3 years to plan this thing. I have thought out dozens of color schemes, venues, random ideas, and other wedding details. With nearly a year and half to go, I have pretty much decided on a color scheme and an overall theme. Luckily (or unluckily somedays), my mom has been coming along to bridal shows and looking through what seems like hundreds of wedding magazines with me.
I graduated from A&M two months ago, Whoop! So with my hard earned Aggie Degree I got a part time job at a Couture Wedding Dress Store. I am also working on getting my wedding planning business started so I am COMPLETELY emmersed in weddings!
So far in planning, I have been to the Houston Bridal Extravaganza twice, the Bridal Symposium, the premier wedding showcase at the Houstonian, the Galveston Bridal Show twice, the Bay Oaks Bridal Open House, the Tad Akers Bridal Open House, and have gotten my tickets for the San Luis Bridal Open House March 14 at the Galveston Convention Center! My trooper of a mother has gone to all but two of these fantabulous shows. Brian has gone to about three and his mom, Lisa, was extremely overwhelmed at the Houston Bridal Extravaganza!
For my wedding planning business, as well as my own personal wants :), I have organized wedding magazine clippings into binders for easy reference. I have a binder for cakes, flowers, reception and ceremony decor, and dresses. They are super fun to look at!!
During my non-wedding related time, I am working on getting my teacher certification through iTeach Texas. Can't wait to be a teacher!!
For Lent, Brian and I have given up going out to eat...day four and Brian has already cheated! I think it was him setting bread on fire last night that provoked the cheating!
